Things are heating up over in the Wiess camp, getting ready for the June 14th release of ORDINARY BEAUTY, the Hudson Children's Book Festival on May 7th, and the series of events that come after.

This definitely adds a sizzle to what sometimes feels like the 900th consecutive day of winter.

Today is also my best friend Bonnie's birthday, and I really wish I could have been there to celebrate with her but several things, including weather, just wasn't going to let it happen. But Happy Birthday, my dear friend, and many, many more.

This month is my deadline month. I'm working on a YA romantic comedy -- well, revising what's already written -- and I'm shooting for the end of February. Realistic? I don't know yet but I'm here now, and I'm working, so we'll see.
