I woke up happy, with a bouquet of flowers, fresh coffee and hearing the Sesame Street song in my head.

Good stuff.

Today is my birthday and in five minutes I have to start getting ready for company. It's been a great morning so far, and I can't wait to see what comes next.

Yesterday a doe had her fawn right here in my back yard, and tucked it away there in the tall grass all day, coming back for it at dusk.

Pretty magical.
