It is a gorgeous day -- despite the wild wind -- and I have some very good news.

If all goes well, I will get to baby duck-sit for a while this month.

I had a lovely lunch today with a new friend and somehow, during the course of our conversation, I wheedled her into letting me duck-sit this adorable little crew of peepers:





I couldn't get close enough to pet them but we did manage to lure them in:



I am totally enchanted.



This is a great month.
