I've really been enjoying the reviews HOW IT ENDS has been getting, and yesterday this one pretty much made my day yesterday. (I love her description of the tears involved, as I was crying when I wrote these scenes, too.)

HOW IT ENDS was nominated for a 2009 Cybil Award and the finalists will be announced on January 1, 2010.

We'll see how it goes.

Holiday-wise, the cats got part of their Christmas present early: A six foot high, multi-level carpeted cat tree. I found it on eBay back in September, brand new and for a very good price, and yesterday we put it together and placed it in front of the french doors so they can spend the winter lolling around in the heat of the woodstove, watching the birds.  

So far, if you don't count them squabbling over who gets the highest perch, it's a big hit.

We'll see how that goes, too.
