Getting a Move On

Today we supposedly have a storm coming. There's a weather advisory out, saying wind, rain, ice, snow and sleet, which pretty much covers it. Six inches perhaps, all combined. Up here in the mountain though, the weather is funky and unpredictable. The other day when it snowed we got what, three or four inches, while a couple miles away got maybe one to two.

This is going to be interesting. I have about a half a cord of wood inside, but I think I'll bring in some more. Just in case.

Today I woke up with this brisk, revving feeling, like I'm geared up and impatient to get moving on all the things that aren't done yet. I have a short list of cards still to write, baking to do, a tree to get and decorate, presents to wrap, a few more presents to get, and then all the standard, normal life stuff. So I'll make a list and if the mood holds, buzz through the non-holiday stuff pending so I can write, and then relax and enjoy the Christmas prep.

Well, that's the plan, anyway. (I know, I know. I can hear the universe laughing already.)

Hope your day is exactly what you want it to be.
